[XP] Internet Connection Sharing in Windows XP Hello, I was wondering.. is it only possible to share an internet connection on a computer if it is directly connected to the broadband modem?

Disabling ICS in Windows XP registry By rledee · 13 years ago I have recently discovered that when I disable ICS in the Windows XP registry the ICS box in the Network connections poperty advanced Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) - Windows XP Service Provides network address translation, addressing, name resolution and/or intrusion prevention services for a home or small office network. This service also exists in Windows 10, 7, 8and Vista.
