You can’t Teach the app to store the KeePass database files in a specific folder under the Dropbox root folder . Make a Dropbox specifically (and only) for your KeePass database which has a complex password, then keep a simpler password on your database. This will give you a decent compromise to the need to memorise two complex passwords but still keep your database sufficiently secure. The KeePass format adds many nice features such as custom fields, attachments and icons as well as strong cross platform support and a larger community than the original Password Safe format. Strongbox is nearly five years old now and has many more users than I could have ever imagined. Also I checked how keepass works it never creats any unencryped swap file which can be later retrived on dropbox so it is very very safe I feel.
